"So there I was, in the kitchen frying some eggs when 'HAH! HOH!.... YEEEEahhhhhhHHH!!!' I turned my trusty spatula into a cutlass and started attacking my invisible opponent before sweeping at them and almost slapping my mother across the face as she walked in the room.

What an incredible masterclass Phase 1 was! I thoroughly enjoyed my weekend with the BAA learning the theory behind screen combat and performing for the first time in front of people and a camera.

I've made loads of new friends, gained valuable skills, laughed loads, worked hard, and cannot thank the instructors, Noel, Ed, and Dave, enough for the patience they had teaching me how to become a screen professional. It is by no means an easy course - fitness is vital and you put in what you get out.

I can't wait to get back for Phase 2 x"
